Two security personnel were treated after a lightning strike at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) caused a blackout, resulting in brief venting of vapor Tuesday morning. Around 4:00 a.m. April 28, Army officials say two security personnel were transported for potential fume exposure and observation. Residents nearby may have heard shelter-in-place alarms; however, there is no danger to the surrounding off-post community.
