Two charged in Radford double shooting on E. Main St. Robert Leonard and Sidney Schwartz face multiple felony charges including weapons and assault.
Two people have been charged in connection to a double shooting in Radford. Robert Leonard, 47 of Radford, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Sidney Schwartz, 22 of Elliston, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to use a firearm in the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding. The shooting happened around 3 p.m. Thursday on the 1100 block of E. Main St., prompting a secure-in-place alert on the Radford University campus. Two people were shot.
