Radford University student athlete Joey Raccuia, 19, died in a car crash on East St. on Feb. 25, 2026.
A 19-year-old man died at the scene of a car crash in Radford Wednesday. Joey Raccuia was a student at Radford University. The crash happened in the 10 block of East St. about 11:20 a.m. Feb. 25, 2026. Raccuia's name is listed on the Highlanders baseball roster. He is the son of former Radford University baseball head coach Joe Raccuia.
