Radford University officially launched "Shaping Tomorrow — Together," a six-year strategic plan focused on defining the university's identity, driving regional economic development, and stabilizing enrollment.
On January 23, 2026, Radford University officially launched its six-year strategic plan, "Shaping Tomorrow — Together," following months of planning and final approval from the Board of Visitors in December 2025.
President Bret Danilowicz outlined four ambitious goals: defining the university's distinctive nature, driving regional economic development, stabilizing enrollment, and streamlining resources. The plan emphasizes a "culture of care" as a central theme.
The planning committee, co-chaired by Sharon Roger Hepburn and Angela Joyner, involved students, faculty, staff, community members, and administrators in the development process.
