Radford Teacher Named 2026 Virginia Regional Teacher of the Year

Jeff Brown, a biology teacher at Radford High School, has been named the 2026 Virginia Regional Teacher of the Year for Region 7 by the Virginia Department of Education.

Brown, who has 28 years of teaching experience, received his bachelor's degrees from Virginia Tech and Radford University. He is recognized for his dedication to his students and his contributions to science education in the Radford City Schools system.
