Joseph Raccuia, 19, a Radford University student, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on East Street on February 25. The crash remains under investigation.
On February 25, 2026, 19-year-old Joseph Raccuia was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the 10 block of East Street. Radford Police officers responded to the scene and administered first aid, but Raccuia was pronounced dead.
Radford University confirmed that Raccuia was a student at the university. The crash remains under investigation, and authorities have requested anyone with information to contact Captain J.L. Slaughter at the Radford Police Department.
