A homeowner on Radford Road (Route 11) in Montgomery County has voiced concerns about speeding vehicles traveling 70-80 mph. Phillip Shuford, who has lived on the road for a year, described daily challenges with speeding vehicles and noted his wife's friend was killed trying to pull onto the road. VDOT data shows 4 fatalities on the road from 2015-2024 with approximately 8,700 daily travelers. VDOT currently has no plans to change speed limits.
